The Senior Team Leader – Sales is responsible for leading a high-performing sales team, overseeing operations within a defined territory or sector, and ensuring achievement of revenue targets. This role includes strategic planning, coaching team members, and managing key accounts to contribute to overall business growth.
Lead, manage, and motivate a team of sales executives or representatives to meet and exceed targets.
Develop and implement tactical sales plans aligned with regional and organizational goals.
Monitor performance, set KPIs, and conduct regular team reviews and training sessions.
Identify and develop new business opportunities and strategic customer relationships.
Guide the team in handling complex negotiations and closing high-value deals.
Collaborate with cross-functional departments (marketing, logistics, product, finance) to streamline operations.
Analyze sales reports, pipeline forecasts, and market trends to support data-driven decisions.
Resolve customer escalations and ensure a high standard of service delivery.
Assist in budgeting, pricing strategy, and campaign execution at the field level.
Represent the company in exhibitions, networking events, and client presentations.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
5–7 years of successful sales experience, including 2–3 years in a team leadership role.
Proven track record in achieving sales targets and leading productive teams.
Excellent leadership, coaching, and performance management skills.
Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho) and MS Office suite.
Ability to travel within assigned regions when required.
