Job Summary:

The Junior Sales Team Leader assists in guiding and supporting a small team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team sales targets. This role is ideal for someone with prior sales experience who is ready to take on a leadership role while continuing to develop their managerial and coordination skills.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the day-to-day activities of the sales team to ensure achievement of sales goals.

  • Motivate and guide team members in executing effective sales techniques and customer service.

  • Assist in setting daily/weekly targets and track team performance.

  • Participate in sales calls and client meetings as needed.

  • Provide training and support to new sales representatives.

  • Report team progress, challenges, and achievements to the Sales Manager.

  • Ensure proper implementation of promotional campaigns and product placement strategies.

  • Address basic customer issues and escalate complex matters to the appropriate level.

  • Help maintain accurate sales records and prepare regular reports.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, Sales, or Marketing.

  • 1–3 years of sales experience, preferably in retail, FMCG, or B2B environments.

  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.

  • Basic leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.


Preferred Competencies:

  • Strong interpersonal and motivational skills.

  • Good organizational and time management abilities.

  • Confidence in coaching peers and supporting junior staff.

  • Knowledge of CRM systems and basic reporting tools (Excel, Google Sheets).
