The Junior Sales Team Leader assists in guiding and supporting a small team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team sales targets. This role is ideal for someone with prior sales experience who is ready to take on a leadership role while continuing to develop their managerial and coordination skills.
Support the day-to-day activities of the sales team to ensure achievement of sales goals.
Motivate and guide team members in executing effective sales techniques and customer service.
Assist in setting daily/weekly targets and track team performance.
Participate in sales calls and client meetings as needed.
Provide training and support to new sales representatives.
Report team progress, challenges, and achievements to the Sales Manager.
Ensure proper implementation of promotional campaigns and product placement strategies.
Address basic customer issues and escalate complex matters to the appropriate level.
Help maintain accurate sales records and prepare regular reports.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, Sales, or Marketing.
1–3 years of sales experience, preferably in retail, FMCG, or B2B environments.
Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
Basic leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
Strong interpersonal and motivational skills.
Good organizational and time management abilities.
Confidence in coaching peers and supporting junior staff.
Knowledge of CRM systems and basic reporting tools (Excel, Google Sheets).
