The Senior Structural Engineer is responsible for leading structural design, analysis, and coordination across a wide range of projects including buildings, infrastructure, and industrial facilities. This role ensures structural integrity, safety, and compliance with all codes and client requirements while overseeing junior engineers and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
Lead structural analysis and design of reinforced concrete, steel, and foundation systems.
Review and approve structural drawings, calculations, and technical submittals.
Ensure compliance with international and local building codes (e.g., ACI, BS, Eurocodes).
Oversee and guide junior engineers and CAD technicians in producing accurate deliverables.
Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and contractors to resolve design conflicts.
Conduct site inspections, structural assessments, and supervise critical construction phases.
Provide technical leadership in structural optimization, value engineering, and risk management.
Participate in client meetings, project planning, and design reviews.
Prepare technical reports, BOQs, and detailed documentation for tenders and approvals.
Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
7–10+ years of experience in structural engineering design and supervision.
Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification preferred.
Expertise in structural design software (ETABS, SAFE, STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, etc.).
Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit Structure and BIM environments is an advantage.
Strong leadership, mentoring, and team coordination skills.
