Overview of the Role
Talent Pool is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Static Equipment Engineer at the senior level to join our dynamic team in AE. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, analysis, inspection, and maintenance of static pressure vessels and storage tanks, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as ASME Section VIII, API 650, and API 660. This role requires a deep understanding of engineering principles, codes, and standards related to pressure equipment, along with a proven track record of managing complex projects from conception through commissioning. The engineer will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and regulatory bodies to deliver safe, reliable, and efficient static equipment solutions that meet project specifications and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Design and Engineering: Develop and review detailed designs of static pressure vessels and storage tanks in accordance with ASME VIII, API 650, and API 660 standards, ensuring structural integrity, safety, and compliance with project requirements.

Code Compliance and Standards: Ensure all static equipment designs and modifications adhere to relevant industry codes, standards, and regulatory requirements, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of ASME, API, and other applicable standards.

Material Selection and Specification: Specify appropriate materials for static equipment based on operating conditions, corrosion allowances, and industry standards, and review material certifications and test reports.

Analysis and Calculations: Perform stress analysis, finite element modeling, and other engineering calculations to validate the structural integrity and safety of static equipment under various operating conditions.

Inspection and Quality Assurance: Coordinate and oversee inspection activities during fabrication, erection, and commissioning phases, ensuring quality standards are met and deficiencies are addressed promptly.

Project Management: Lead or support static equipment projects, including scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.

Documentation and Reporting: Prepare technical reports, design dossiers, and inspection reports, maintaining comprehensive documentation for regulatory compliance and project records.

Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, clients, vendors, and regulatory authorities to facilitate effective communication and ensure project alignment with technical and safety standards.
