We are looking for a motivated Junior Static Equipment Engineer to support the design, maintenance, and inspection of static mechanical equipment such as pressure vessels, storage tanks, and heat exchangers. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals with foundational knowledge of industry codes like ASME Section VIII, API 650, and API 660, seeking to develop their expertise in static equipment within the oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial sectors.
Assist in the preparation of technical specifications, datasheets, and drawings for static equipment.
Support design review processes for pressure vessels, storage tanks, and heat exchangers.
Coordinate with vendors for data collection, technical clarifications, and documentation review.
Participate in routine inspections and maintenance activities under the guidance of senior engineers.
Assist in the documentation of equipment condition and help prepare basic inspection reports.
Support planning for periodic testing, such as hydrotesting or thickness measurements.
Learn and apply basic elements of industry codes and standards (ASME VIII, API 650, API 660).
Ensure engineering work adheres to internal QA/QC requirements and client specifications.
Help prepare and maintain equipment registers, design documents, and engineering records.
Support the preparation of project status reports and presentations.
Design and documentation support for static mechanical equipment

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
0–2 years of experience or internship in mechanical/static equipment engineering.
Basic understanding of static equipment (e.g., pressure vessels, tanks, exchangers).
Familiarity with engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, PV Elite, COMPRESS) is an advantage.
Knowledge of ASME Section VIII, API 650, API 660 is desirable.
Good communication and willingness to learn.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude.
Ability to work under supervision and in a team environment.
Any training or certification in pressure equipment, ASME/API standards, or QA/QC is a plus.
Basic safety training or OSHA/NEBOSH certifications (optional).
