We are seeking an experienced and proactive Site Supervisor – Valve Installations to lead and coordinate valve installation activities at industrial and infrastructure project sites. In this mid-level role, you will be responsible for overseeing field execution, ensuring technical compliance, safety adherence, and timely delivery of valve installation scopes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with a variety of valve types and a strong foundation in mechanical supervision.
Lead daily valve installation activities, ensuring work is executed according to drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
Supervise mechanical crews and subcontractors during valve fitting, alignment, torquing, and testing processes.
Ensure work fronts are safely prepared with proper tools, equipment, and permits before execution.
Oversee installation of isolation valves (gate, globe, butterfly), control valves, check valves, and safety relief valves.
Ensure proper flange management, gasket selection, torque tightening, and leak-free joint completion.
Collaborate with QA/QC teams to verify installation checklists, pressure testing, and punch list closure.
Enforce compliance with site safety procedures (LOTO, confined space, working at height, hot work).
Conduct toolbox talks, pre-job briefings, and hazard assessments.
Monitor adherence to PTW systems and report near misses/incidents promptly.
Maintain daily site logs, valve tracking registers, and completion reports.
Review and sign off installation records, inspection forms, and valve datasheets.
Ensure all installed valves are tagged and documented per project requirements.
Liaise with planning, piping, QA/QC, and operations teams to ensure seamless installation flow.
Attend coordination meetings, provide daily updates, and resolve field issues promptly.
Support site engineers in providing feedback on technical changes or constructability challenges.
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or equivalent technical discipline.
4–7 years of experience in mechanical supervision, including at least 2–3 years focused on valve installation in industrial or infrastructure settings.
Experience with pipeline, plant piping, utility systems, or process equipment installations is an advantage.
Strong understanding of valve types, installation methods, flange management, and bolt torqueing practices.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting P&IDs, isometrics, valve datasheets, and alignment drawings.
Familiarity with relevant standards such as ASME, API (e.g., API 598, 6D), and site HSE regulations.
Strong leadership and coordination skills with the ability to manage multi-skilled crews.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and deliver results within tight shutdown or project schedules.
