We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Junior Site Supervisor to support valve installation projects at industrial and infrastructure sites. This entry-level supervisory role is ideal for candidates with foundational mechanical knowledge and a desire to grow into a leadership position. The selected candidate will assist in overseeing valve installation crews, ensuring adherence to safety, technical, and quality standards during field execution.
Assist senior supervisors in coordinating daily valve installation activities on-site.
Monitor work execution to ensure it follows installation drawings, specifications, and safety procedures.
Support the logistics of equipment, tools, and material readiness for assigned installation scopes.
Participate in installation of various valve types (gate, globe, ball, check, control, and safety valves).
Verify proper alignment, torque, flange sealing, and tag identification of installed valves.
Support testing and inspection teams during leak testing or commissioning.
Promote and enforce safe work practices, including use of PPE, LOTO procedures, and permit systems.
Attend toolbox talks and daily safety briefings.
Report any safety concerns or incidents to the HSE officer or senior supervisor immediately.
Maintain daily work logs and assist in filling out valve installation checklists.
Support QA/QC with data collection for valve traceability and inspection reports.
Capture photos and prepare basic documentation for work completion records.
Communicate with technicians and subcontractors to ensure task clarity.
Provide feedback to planning or engineering teams on site conditions or technical challenges.
Participate in progress review meetings and contribute to look-ahead planning.
Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
1–3 years of hands-on or supervisory support experience in mechanical installation or maintenance.
Exposure to valve systems, piping, or equipment installation in industrial or construction settings is preferred.
Basic understanding of valve types, functions, and installation techniques.
Ability to read mechanical drawings and follow technical instructions.
Familiarity with tools and torqueing procedures used in valve installation.
Good communication and team coordination abilities.
Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced site environment.
Safety training or certifications (e.g., Basic OSHA, Work-at-Height, Hot Work Permit).
Familiarity with flange management tools or hydraulic torqueing equipment.
