We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Supervisor to lead and oversee all field execution activities related to valve and pressure vessel maintenance during major shutdowns, outages, and turnarounds. This role is critical in ensuring the safe, timely, and high-quality completion of mechanical scopes across complex industrial facilities. The ideal candidate brings strong technical knowledge, leadership experience, and a proven track record of managing multidisciplinary mechanical teams in high-pressure environments.
Lead and supervise mechanical teams in executing comprehensive maintenance, repair, and testing of valves and pressure vessels during planned shutdowns.
Ensure all activities are conducted according to shutdown schedules, safety protocols, and quality standards.
Serve as the primary point of contact between field teams, planning, operations, and QA/QC departments.
Oversee maintenance on a wide range of critical assets including safety relief valves, control valves, isolation valves, air-operated valves, and pressure-retaining equipment (drums, heat exchangers, columns, tanks).
Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards (API 510, 570, 598, 6D, ASME Sec VIII & IX).
Validate repair procedures, pressure tests, flange management practices, and vessel internals inspection.
Participate in shutdown planning, scope definition, job pack reviews, and resource estimation.
Conduct risk assessments, pre-shutdown reviews, and ensure readiness of tools, spares, permits, and manpower.
Coordinate with procurement and logistics to ensure timely delivery of critical path components.
Supervise inspection and testing processes; ensure all ITPs, test records, checklists, and reports are accurately completed.
Lead quality hold-point inspections with client representatives, auditors, or certifying bodies.
Ensure traceability and documentation of all components, weld repairs, and modifications.
Enforce strict adherence to safety procedures including LOTO, confined space entry, hot work, and isolation protocols.

Allocate resources efficiently and lead performance assessments of team members.
Coordinate subcontractors and third-party service providers for specialty valve or vessel services.
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Maintenance.
Specialized training or certifications in pressure equipment, valve maintenance, or plant turnarounds are highly preferred.
10+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance, with at least 5 years supervising major shutdown/outage scopes.
Proven experience in executing mechanical scopes in oil & gas, petrochemicals, power, or heavy industry.
Deep knowledge of valve overhauls, hydrostatic testing, vessel entry, and inspection protocols.
