The Senior Vice President (SVP) – Business Development is responsible for driving the company’s growth through strategic business development initiatives, high-level partnerships, and market expansion efforts. As a senior executive, the SVP sets the vision and direction for business development activities, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and long-term sustainability.
Lead the business development strategy to drive top-line growth across key markets and sectors.
Identify, negotiate, and secure strategic partnerships, alliances, and major client accounts.
Collaborate with C-suite leadership to align business development goals with overall corporate strategy.
Direct the evaluation of new markets, customer segments, and investment opportunities.
Oversee the business development pipeline and ensure the achievement of revenue and growth targets.
Represent the company in high-stakes negotiations, executive-level presentations, and industry events.
Provide leadership and mentoring to regional business development teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
Monitor industry trends, competitive intelligence, and emerging opportunities to stay ahead of the market.
Lead key account expansion initiatives and executive engagement plans.
Report performance metrics and strategic developments to the board and executive committee.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or related field (MBA or Executive Education preferred).
10–15 years of progressive experience in business development, strategic sales, or corporate development, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Proven ability to close high-value deals and scale revenue across diverse markets.
Deep experience in developing and executing growth strategies for large organizations.
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence C-level stakeholders.
Solid financial literacy and understanding of business performance metrics.

International market development experience.
Familiarity with M&A, joint ventures, and complex commercial agreements.
