We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Valve Design Engineer to lead the development, design, and optimization of advanced valve systems used in automotive, industrial, thermal, or fluid power applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in fluid dynamics, mechanical design, materials, and system integration, and will contribute to innovation, validation, and manufacturability of high-performance valve products.
Lead the design and development of complex valve systems, including pressure control, flow regulation, thermal control, EGR, solenoid, and proportional valves.
Conduct advanced simulations using CFD and FEA tools to validate fluid flow, structural strength, thermal effects, and fatigue life.
Perform material selection and sealing strategy design for demanding environments (temperature, pressure, chemical compatibility).
Manage full design lifecycle from concept to production: CAD modeling, prototyping, validation, and technical documentation.
Drive design reviews, DFMEA, and root cause analysis for quality and reliability improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, quality, electronics, testing, and suppliers) to ensure DFM, cost efficiency, and functional compliance.
Serve as a technical mentor to junior engineers and support technology roadmaps and innovation initiatives.
Interface with OEM customers and regulatory agencies as a technical subject matter expert.
