The Senior Proposal Engineer (Junior Level) supports the preparation and submission of technical and commercial proposals for engineering projects, products, or services. This role involves assisting senior team members in reviewing tender documents, preparing bid packages, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring timely delivery of compliant and competitive proposals.
Assist in reviewing RFPs, RFQs, and tender specifications to understand scope and submission requirements.
Help compile proposal documents including technical datasheets, compliance matrices, and price breakdowns.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and costing teams to gather technical and commercial inputs.
Draft covering letters, company profiles, and format proposals as per client templates or requirements.
Maintain and update the proposal database, vendor price lists, and standard content repositories.
Participate in bid tracking and internal approval workflows under the guidance of senior proposal engineers.
Support the preparation of prequalification documents (PQs), expressions of interest (EOIs), and vendor registrations.
Ensure adherence to deadlines and client submission formats.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related Engineering discipline.
0–2 years of experience in proposals, tendering, estimation, or engineering documentation (internship/apprenticeship acceptable).
Basic understanding of engineering drawings, specifications, and commercial terms.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with Adobe Acrobat or proposal tools is a plus.
Detail-oriented with good organizational and documentation skills.
Strong written and verbal communication.
Eagerness to learn technical-commercial coordination and bidding strategies.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple assignments.
