This role supports outage planning, root cause analysis, and engineering improvement projects focused on efficient steam generation and pressure equipment performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze boiler performance metrics (efficiency, emissions, steam output, fuel ratio).

  • Lead troubleshooting of issues related to combustion, heat transfer, boiler feedwater systems, and auxiliary equipment.

  • Develop and review preventive and predictive maintenance plans for boilers and pressure systems.

  • Coordinate outage work scopes, inspection schedules, and repair planning with maintenance and contractors.

  • Ensure compliance with ASME Boiler Code (Sections I, IV), NBIC, and local regulatory requirements.

  • Conduct boiler efficiency improvement projects and propose technical upgrades or modifications.

  • Analyze boiler failure modes (e.g., tube leaks, corrosion, fouling) and recommend corrective actions.

  • Support commissioning and testing of new boiler equipment or retrofits.

  • Maintain and update engineering documentation, including P&IDs, technical drawings, and O&M manuals.

  • Collaborate with operations, EHS, and instrumentation teams to ensure safe and reliable operations.

Key Focus Areas:

  1. Boiler Performance Optimization

    • Identify efficiency improvement opportunities through data analysis and operational fine-tuning.

  2. Maintenance & Reliability Engineering
