The Junior Scaffolding Supervisor supports the planning, erection, inspection, and dismantling of scaffolding structures on construction sites. Under the guidance of senior supervisors, this role ensures that scaffolding work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and safety standards.
Assist in supervising scaffold erection, modification, and dismantling activities.
Ensure scaffolding work is performed as per approved drawings and safety requirements.
Conduct basic inspections of scaffolding structures for stability, alignment, and load capacity.
Monitor the use of proper tools, materials, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Maintain clear communication with scaffolders, site engineers, and safety officers.
Support the preparation of scaffolding reports, checklists, and inventory records.
Report unsafe practices or conditions to the senior supervisor or safety team.
Assist in training new workers on basic scaffolding safety and techniques.
Diploma or certificate in Construction, Civil Engineering, or Scaffolding (CITB/Third-party certification is a plus).
1–2 years of experience in scaffolding operations or site supervision.
Basic knowledge of scaffolding components, techniques, and safety standards.
Familiarity with local site safety regulations.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
Physically fit and able to work at heights.
Strong attention to safety and detail.
