We are looking for a technically proficient and detail-oriented Mid-Level Supervisor – Sanitary Valve Installation to oversee and coordinate field installation activities related to sanitary valves in regulated environments such as food & beverage, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical processing facilities. This role involves supervising installation crews, enforcing sanitary and safety standards, and supporting quality control efforts to ensure reliable and compliant fluid handling systems.
Supervision of Sanitary Valve and Piping Installations

Workforce Management and Safety Enforcement
Oversee the installation of sanitary valves (diaphragm, butterfly, ball, check, mix-proof) across process and utility systems.
Ensure correct alignment, orientation, and mounting of valves as per P&IDs, isometric drawings, and installation guides.
Supervise the connection of valves using hygienic joining techniques (tri-clamp, orbital welding, aseptic connectors).
Monitor installation activities to ensure adherence to industry standards such as ASME BPE, 3-A, and cGMP.
Verify that all valve components meet surface finish, material traceability, and cleanability requirements.
Ensure that sanitary design principles are followed to prevent contamination risks and maintain product integrity.
Act as the point of contact between installation crews, engineering teams, and quality inspectors.
Support pre-installation reviews, system walkdowns, and field issue resolutions.
Assist in managing punch lists and ensuring timely closure of installation-related non-conformities.
Maintain accurate valve installation logs, torque specs, weld maps, and test documentation.
Assist in preparing documentation for commissioning, validation, and client turnover.
Support hydrostatic, pneumatic, or visual inspections on installed systems.
Direct daily work assignments for technicians and pipefitters.
Conduct safety briefings and ensure compliance with cleanroom protocols and site-specific safety rules.
Train junior team members on proper handling, alignment, and installation of sanitary valves.
Technical diploma or bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related field.
3–6 years of relevant experience in the installation of sanitary valve and piping systems.
Solid understanding of hygienic valve types, sanitary piping methods, and process system layouts.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, piping schematics, and valve datasheets.
Familiarity with ASME BPE, 3-A, and ISO 13485 standards
OSHA 30, cleanroom training, or GMP compliance certifications
Experience with orbital welding processes or weld inspection
Competency using digital field documentation tools (e.g., Bluebeam, Procore, AutoCAD P&ID)
Technical knowledge of sanitary valve functions and installation methods
