Job Summary:

The Senior Sales Supervisor leads and manages a larger or more strategic sales team, overseeing sales operations, driving revenue growth, and maintaining key customer relationships. This role is responsible for executing regional sales strategies, optimizing team performance, and serving as a link between the sales force and senior management.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of sales representatives, ensuring they meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.

  • Develop and implement area-specific sales strategies in coordination with regional goals.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.

  • Provide coaching, performance evaluations, and continuous training to team members.

  • Oversee daily operations including order processing, stock coordination, and client visits.

  • Manage key client accounts and high-value negotiations as needed.

  • Analyze and report on sales data, forecasts, and operational efficiency to management.

  • Collaborate with marketing, logistics, and product teams to enhance the sales process.

  • Ensure compliance with pricing strategies, contract terms, and company policies.

  • Represent the organization in major client meetings, trade exhibitions, and networking events.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).

  • 5–8 years of proven experience in sales, including 2–3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage sales teams.

  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical abilities.

  • Proficient in CRM systems, MS Office, and sales performance tools.

  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industry experience in [insert sector: e.g., FMCG, industrial products, B2B services, retail].

  • Knowledge of territory planning, sales forecasting, and key account management.

  • Multilingual abilities depending on geographic coverage.
