The Junior Sales Supervisor supports the sales team in achieving revenue targets by overseeing day-to-day sales activities, coordinating with clients, and guiding junior sales representatives. This entry-level supervisory role focuses on operational execution, customer service, and assisting in the implementation of sales strategies.
Supervise and assist a small team of sales representatives or promoters in achieving daily/weekly targets.
Support the planning and execution of sales campaigns and promotions.
Monitor sales activities, report progress, and escalate issues to senior sales management.
Maintain strong relationships with customers and respond to basic queries or issues.
Assist in preparing sales reports, tracking inventory, and handling order follow-ups.
Ensure sales team adheres to company policies, pricing guidelines, and brand standards.
Provide on-the-ground support during client visits, product launches, or sales events.
Train and guide new or less experienced sales staff on company processes and customer interaction.
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
1–3 years of experience in sales or retail, with some team coordination exposure.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Basic understanding of sales tracking tools and customer service practices.
Energetic, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience supervising in a retail, FMCG, or field sales setting.
Familiarity with CRM or POS systems is an advantage.
