The Sales and Business Development Manager – Valves is responsible for driving revenue growth, market penetration, and strategic client engagement for industrial valve products. The role focuses on promoting and selling a wide range of valves (e.g., ball, gate, globe, butterfly, control valves, and safety valves) across industries such as oil & gas, water, power, petrochemicals, and industrial manufacturing. The position involves project tracking, tendering, key account management, and technical-commercial coordination.
Achieve sales targets for valves across the assigned territory or sector.
Identify new business opportunities and actively pursue leads from project consultants, EPCs, end users, and OEMs.
Conduct market research to identify key decision-makers, upcoming projects, and market trends.
Develop and execute go-to-market strategies and customer acquisition plans.
Expand distributor and channel partner networks where applicable.
Track industrial and infrastructure projects from pre-tender to execution phase.
Build and manage long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Conduct technical presentations and support clients in product selection.
Collaborate with internal engineering, estimation, and supply chain teams to develop technical-commercial proposals.
Respond to RFQs, manage documentation, and participate in negotiation processes.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of valve standards (API, ASME, ISO, etc.) and application requirements.
Provide basic troubleshooting, selection advice, and post-sale support in coordination with service teams.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and pipeline progress.
Prepare weekly/monthly business reports and market feedback for senior management.
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
6–10 years of experience in valve sales and business development in industrial sectors
Familiarity with valve applications in oil & gas, power plants, water treatment, and processing industries
Proven track record of managing B2B clients, consultants, and EPC contractors
UAE/GCC experience preferred; valid driving license required
Deep product knowledge of industrial valves
Technical sales and negotiation expertise
