The Sales and Business Development Manager – Turbines is responsible for generating and managing business opportunities related to industrial turbines—covering gas turbines, steam turbines, microturbines, and turbine retrofit and maintenance services. The role focuses on both CAPEX and aftermarket projects across sectors such as power generation, oil & gas, petrochemicals, and industrial manufacturing. The position involves client engagement, project tracking, tendering, and technical-commercial coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth in turbine equipment and services.
Promote turbine solutions for new installations, repowering, retrofitting, and performance optimization.
Identify key projects in power, process, and oil & gas industries across the UAE and GCC.
Track regional project pipelines, monitor tenders, and position offerings from pre-FEED stage onward.
Establish strong relationships with key accounts, including EPCs, IPPs, utilities, and industrial operators.
Conduct technical presentations and system proposals aligned with client operational needs.
Lead the preparation of techno-commercial proposals in collaboration with engineering, estimation, and OEM partners.
Respond to RFQs and manage contract negotiations to ensure profitable deals.
Work with OEMs, service teams, and third-party solution providers to offer complete turbine packages and services.
Ensure smooth handover of awarded projects to execution and after-sales teams.
Provide regular updates on market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback.
Submit detailed sales forecasts and opportunity reports to senior management.
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Power Engineering, or related field
7–12 years of experience in turbine sales (gas or steam), services, or rotating equipment business development
Deep understanding of turbine technologies, operation, and maintenance cycles
Experience working with major OEMs (e.g., Siemens, GE, Solar, Mitsubishi, MAN, etc.)
UAE/GCC experience preferred; valid driving license required
Strong knowledge of turbine systems and lifecycle support
B2B technical sales and client relationship management
