The Sales and Business Development Manager – Instrumentation is responsible for driving growth in industrial instrumentation and control systems. This includes the sale of sensors, transmitters, flow meters, analyzers, control valves, SCADA, PLC systems, and associated calibration services. The role involves identifying business opportunities across key industries such as oil & gas, power, water treatment, manufacturing, and process industries, while managing the full sales cycle and maintaining strong client relationships.
Achieve sales targets for process instrumentation and automation systems across the assigned region.
Promote and sell instrumentation solutions for flow, level, pressure, temperature, and analytical measurement.
Identify and engage with EPC contractors, system integrators, consultants, and end users to develop new business.
Monitor industrial projects from design to commissioning to position the company’s offerings.
Conduct technical meetings, product demos, and presentations tailored to customer applications.
Support clients with technical selections, specifications, and compliance with project requirements.
Prepare and manage responses to RFQs and tenders in coordination with engineering and commercial teams.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms aligned with internal margin targets.
Track industry trends, competitor offerings, and new technologies.
Provide market intelligence and feedback to support product development and pricing strategy.
Coordinate with service and technical teams for installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting support.
Ensure customer satisfaction and generate repeat business through relationship management.
Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering
6–10 years of experience in industrial instrumentation sales or business development
Strong knowledge of instrumentation technologies and control systems (PLC, SCADA, DCS, etc.)
Experience with major vendors (e.g., Emerson, Siemens, Yokogawa, ABB, Endress+Hauser, etc.) is an advantage
GCC industry exposure and driving license preferred
