Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary:

The Sales and Business Development Manager – HVAC is responsible for driving sales growth and securing new business opportunities for HVAC systems and solutions. This includes chilled water systems, VRF/VRV units, AHUs, FCUs, ducting, controls, and retrofit/maintenance services. The role targets commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects, working closely with consultants, contractors, developers, and facility operators across the UAE and GCC region.


Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Revenue Generation

  • Achieve sales targets for HVAC equipment and turnkey solutions (design, supply, install, retrofit).

  • Develop key client relationships across MEP contractors, consultants, EPCs, and facility owners.

Business Development & Market Penetration

  • Identify and pursue HVAC opportunities in commercial buildings, hotels, malls, hospitals, industrial facilities, and district cooling projects.

  • Track active and upcoming construction and MEP projects, especially during design/specification stages.

Proposal & Tender Management

  • Prepare and submit technical-commercial proposals for HVAC packages in collaboration with design and estimation teams.

  • Participate in contract negotiations and ensure profitability and compliance with technical standards.

Client Engagement & Technical Consultation

  • Conduct HVAC solution presentations, site assessments, and system selection support.

  • Advise clients on energy-efficient and compliant HVAC systems based on usage, space, and regulation.

Coordination & Project Handover

  • Coordinate with engineering, supply chain, and service departments to ensure smooth execution post-order.

  • Provide after-sales follow-up and support for warranty, AMC, and retrofit upgrades.

Reporting & Market Intelligence

  • Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and competitor analysis.

  • Report regularly to senior management on performance, pipeline status, and new opportunities.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or HVAC Technology

  • 6–10 years of HVAC sales or business development experience, preferably in the UAE/GCC

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC design, selection, and local/international standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, etc.)

  • Proven track record of winning large commercial and industrial HVAC projects

  • UAE/GCC driving license required
