The Sales and Business Development Manager – Fabrication Services is responsible for driving business growth for the company’s mechanical and structural fabrication services. This includes acquiring and managing projects for the fabrication of skids, tanks, pressure vessels, pipe spools, steel structures, and custom-built equipment. The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, supporting project bids, and coordinating with engineering and production teams.
Identify and pursue fabrication opportunities in oil & gas, petrochemical, water, power, and construction industries.
Generate qualified leads and track fabrication projects from design to execution phase.
Build and maintain relationships with EPC contractors, consultants, and end users.
Achieve sales targets for fabrication services including structural steel, piping systems, vessels, and modular skids.
Conduct site visits, technical discussions, and proposal presentations with clients.
Develop project-specific sales strategies and negotiate contracts.
Prepare and submit quotations, RFQs, and tenders in coordination with estimation and engineering teams.
Ensure proposals comply with customer specifications, relevant standards (ASME, API, ISO), and internal margin targets.
Work with internal project, production, and QA/QC teams to ensure client expectations are met.
Follow up on delivery timelines, quality standards, and project documentation.
Maintain accurate sales pipeline and customer data using CRM tools.
Provide weekly/monthly reports on business activities, market trends, and competitor positioning.
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
6–10 years of experience in business development or sales of fabrication services and mechanical components
Strong understanding of fabrication processes (welding, NDT, machining, blasting, painting)
Familiarity with industry codes and certifications (ASME, ISO, API, etc.)
Experience working with EPC contractors and industrial project clients in the GCC preferred
Valid UAE/GCC driving license
