Job Title: Sale Engineer - Mechanical Equipment

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Mid-Level Sales Engineer with proven experience in selling mechanical equipment solutions to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business, managing key accounts, and providing technical support to clients in the Oil & Gas, Power Plants, and EPC Contractors industries. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, a track record in technical sales, and the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sell mechanical equipment, including valves, turbines, pumps, compressors, and other related products, to clients in the Oil & Gas, Power Plants, and EPC Contractors sectors.

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.

  • Lead the preparation of technical proposals, quotations, and contracts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with customer requirements.

  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and negotiations to prospective clients.

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in target industries.

  • Provide technical support to customers throughout the sales process, ensuring their requirements are met effectively.

  • Collaborate with engineering, project management, and operations teams to ensure the successful execution of projects and on-time delivery.

  • Manage customer inquiries, identify upsell opportunities, and address any post-sales issues.

  • Track industry trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to adapt sales strategies and product offerings.

  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote products and build brand presence.

  • Provide mentorship and support to junior sales engineers as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

  • 3-5 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in mechanical equipment or engineering products in the Oil & Gas, Power Plants, or EPC Contractors sectors.

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing key accounts.

  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, equipment, and their applications in relevant industries.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple sales opportunities simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and technical aptitude.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

  • Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office, and other sales tools.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with project management and technical proposal preparation.

  • Familiarity with engineering drawings and product specifications.

  • Knowledge of the Oil & Gas, Power Plants, and EPC Contractors industries.

  • Strong network of contacts within the target industries.
