We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Sales Manager to oversee and manage our sales efforts for mechanical equipment solutions in the Oil & Gas, Power Plants, and EPC Contractors industries. This is a leadership position that requires a blend of strategic thinking, technical expertise, and strong management skills. The Sales Manager will lead a team of sales engineers, develop and execute sales strategies, manage key accounts, and drive business growth in a competitive market. You will also be responsible for shaping the sales team’s goals and ensuring high-level customer satisfaction across the region.
Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets, focusing on the Oil & Gas, Power Plants, and EPC Contractors sectors.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team, providing guidance and training to junior, mid-level, and senior sales engineers to enhance performance and skills.
Account Management: Manage and build relationships with key clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction, repeat business, and the identification of upsell opportunities.
Sales Performance Monitoring: Set clear goals and KPIs for the sales team and ensure consistent performance. Track sales metrics and prepare reports to assess team performance.
Proposal and Quotation Management: Oversee the preparation and delivery of accurate and competitive technical proposals, quotations, and contracts tailored to customer needs.
Customer Relationship Building: Build and nurture relationships with senior decision-makers, project managers, and procurement managers in target industries, ensuring that the company's solutions meet their needs.
Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with engineering, project management, and operations teams to ensure that customer expectations are met and projects are executed on time.
Market Analysis and Forecasting: Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback. Use this data to adjust strategies, forecast sales, and provide valuable insights to senior leadership.
Negotiations and Closures: Lead complex negotiations and close high-value deals with key customers.
Reporting and Documentation: Provide regular sales performance reports and forecasts to senior management, outlining progress against targets and providing insights for strategic decision-making.
Product and Industry Expertise: Stay up-to-date with industry standards, product advancements, and regulatory changes to advise clients effectively.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
7-10 years of experience in sales or business development in the mechanical equipment industry, with a focus on Oil & Gas, Power Plants, and EPC Contractors.
Proven leadership experience in managing and motivating a sales team to achieve targets and goals.
Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment, including valves, turbines, pumps, compressors, and other products used in Oil & Gas, Power Plants, and EPC Contractors.
Exceptional sales skills with a demonstrated track record of managing key accounts and closing high-value deals.
Ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies that align with business goals.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to engage and influence senior-level clients and stakeholders.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office, and sales forecasting tools.
MBA or advanced certifications in business management or sales.
Experience with product lifecycle management, cost estimation, and large-scale project management.
Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
Strong network of contacts within the Oil & Gas, Power Plant, and EPC Contractors industries.
