The role ensures full compliance with IEC 61508/61511 standards and leads a team of technicians in executing preventive and corrective maintenance, functional testing, and system verifications to maintain required Safety Integrity Levels (SIL).
SIS Operation & Maintenance Supervision – Supervise all field and control room activities related to SIS maintenance and testing.
SIL Compliance Monitoring – Ensure all safety loops maintain their assigned SIL through rigorous testing and documentation.
Team Management – Lead a team of technicians and junior engineers in daily SIS-related tasks, ensuring adherence to safety and operational standards.
Emergency Shutdown Systems (ESD) – Oversee the testing, validation, and performance tracking of ESD and other critical protection systems.
System Documentation & Testing Records – Ensure all safety system documentation is up to date, audit-ready, and compliant with international safety standards.
Interface with Automation and HSE – Collaborate with the DCS/PLC teams and HSE department to ensure system integrity and plant safety.
