We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Mid-Level Rotating Equipment Supervisor to oversee the maintenance, repair, and operational readiness of critical rotating machinery. This role requires hands-on expertise, supervisory experience, and a deep understanding of rotating equipment reliability practices. The ideal candidate will manage field teams, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and work closely with engineering, operations, and planning teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment performance.
Supervise daily maintenance activities for rotating equipment including pumps, compressors, fans, blowers, turbines, and motors.
Ensure proper execution of predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance tasks.
Review and interpret OEM manuals, technical drawings, and repair procedures.
Monitor performance of rotating equipment using vibration analysis, thermography, and condition monitoring tools.
Troubleshoot equipment failures and ensure root cause identification and resolution.
Lead overhauls and installation of critical rotating assets.
Supervise and mentor a team of technicians, fitters, and mechanical contractors.
Coordinate work schedules, assign tasks, and oversee quality of execution.
Liaise with stores and procurement to ensure parts and consumables are available.
Enforce safety protocols, conduct toolbox talks, and ensure use of PPE.
Ensure maintenance practices are in line with HSE and QA/QC standards.
Participate in safety audits, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and inspection reports.
Support planning teams with maintenance forecasts and reliability improvement inputs.
Assist in developing and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, or equivalent.
4–7 years of experience in rotating equipment maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong background in the oil & gas, petrochemical, power generation, or heavy industrial sectors.
Proficiency with rotating equipment such as centrifugal/reciprocating compressors, pumps, fans, and turbines.
Skilled in alignment, vibration analysis, root cause failure analysis (RCFA), and equipment balancing.
Familiar with CMMS tools (SAP, Maximo, etc.).
Strong team coordination and people management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and lead under pressure.
Vibration Analysis (Category I or II), Laser Alignment, or OEM-specific equipment training.
Safety Certifications: OSHA 30, NEBOSH, or equivalent.
Root Cause Analysis and Reliability Engineering courses are an advantage.
