We are looking for a motivated Junior Rotating Equipment Supervisor to assist in overseeing the maintenance, installation, and operational support of rotating machinery within our facility. This entry-level supervisory role is ideal for candidates with technical hands-on experience in rotating equipment who are transitioning into a leadership capacity. The candidate will support senior supervisors in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of pumps, compressors, turbines, and motors while upholding safety and quality standards.
Assist in supervising the maintenance and repair activities for rotating machinery including pumps, gearboxes, compressors, turbines, and electric motors.
Support routine inspections, vibration analysis, and alignment activities.
Help coordinate small repair jobs and troubleshoot basic equipment malfunctions.
Promote safety practices and assist in conducting toolbox talks and safety briefings.
Monitor the use of PPE and adherence to safety procedures by technicians.
Report safety observations or incidents to the senior supervisor.
Assist in documenting daily maintenance activities and ensuring proper recording of job cards and work orders.
Support equipment history tracking and help maintain compliance with maintenance schedules.
Coordinate with QA/QC for equipment inspection readiness.
Provide direction to a small team of technicians under the guidance of a senior supervisor.
Liaise with stores for spare part requisitions and verify parts against BOMs.
Communicate task status to senior engineers or supervisors.

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Maintenance Technology, or equivalent.
1–3 years of hands-on experience with rotating equipment in a plant or workshop setting.
Familiarity with maintenance practices for pumps, motors, and compressors.
Basic understanding of alignment techniques, vibration basics, and condition monitoring tools.
Ability to read technical drawings and OEM manuals.
Exposure to maintenance planning tools is a plus.
Good communication and teamwork capabilities.
Eagerness to learn and develop leadership skills.
Strong attention to detail and safety-minded.
Basic safety training (e.g., OSHA 10, H2S, or equivalent).
OEM or vendor-specific training on rotating equipment is a plus.
