We are looking for a skilled and proactive Mid-Level Rotating Equipment Engineer to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for the design, maintenance support, troubleshooting, and reliability analysis of rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, and turbines in compliance with API standards (API 610, 617, 618). This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize equipment performance and support maintenance strategies.
Lead the engineering support for rotating equipment including specification review, vendor evaluation, and equipment selection.
Oversee inspection, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities to ensure reliable operation of pumps, compressors, and turbines.
Conduct root cause failure analysis (RCFA) and support corrective actions to prevent recurrence of equipment failures.
Monitor and analyze rotating equipment performance data to identify trends and recommend reliability improvements.
Manage rotating equipment upgrade and modification projects, coordinating with vendors and internal teams.
Ensure projects comply with technical standards, safety regulations, and budget constraints.
Ensure adherence to API standards (610, 617, 618) and other relevant codes in equipment design and maintenance practices.
Prepare and review technical documentation, inspection reports, and maintenance plans.
Work closely with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to resolve equipment issues and improve operational efficiency.
Provide technical guidance and training to junior engineers and maintenance personnel.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or related field.
4-7 years of experience in rotating equipment engineering, preferably in oil & gas, petrochemical, or heavy industry sectors.
Proven experience with API 610, 617, and 618 standards and rotating machinery troubleshooting.
Strong knowledge of rotating equipment design, operation, and maintenance.
Proficient in root cause analysis, reliability engineering tools, and engineering software (e.g., CAD, SAP PM).
Familiar with vendor management and project execution.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
API certifications related to rotating equipment.
Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) or similar.
Safety certifications such as OSHA or NEBOSH.
