As a Mid-Level Robotics Control Engineer, you will take ownership of the design, programming, and commissioning of robotic control systems in industrial environments. You will lead integration projects involving robots, PLCs, sensors, and vision systems, optimize motion control strategies, and ensure system reliability and safety. You will also mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Develop and implement control algorithms for industrial and collaborative robots (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB, UR, Yaskawa).
Lead programming of robotic cells using robot-specific languages (RAPID, KRL, URScript, VAL3) and simulation tools (RobotStudio, RoboDK).
Integrate robots with PLCs, sensors, vision, and safety systems using industrial protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus).
Conduct robot commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning onsite and remotely.
Design robotic cell layouts and participate in risk assessments and safety validations (ISO 10218, ANSI/RIA).
Develop documentation including functional specifications, test plans, and user manuals.
Mentor and guide junior engineers and technicians in robotics control projects.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for seamless project delivery and automation upgrades.
