The Manager – Robotics Control Engineering leads the robotics control engineering team responsible for designing, developing, and deploying robotic systems in industrial automation projects. This role involves strategic planning, project management, team leadership, and technical oversight to ensure high-quality robotic solutions that meet operational goals and safety standards.
Lead and manage the robotics control engineering team, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance reviews.
Plan, coordinate, and oversee robotics control projects from concept through commissioning and support.
Develop strategies for robotics integration with PLCs, vision systems, and enterprise automation platforms.
Ensure adherence to industry standards (ISO 10218, ANSI/RIA), safety protocols, and cybersecurity best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, software, and operations to deliver seamless automation solutions.
Manage budgets, resources, timelines, and risk mitigation for robotics projects.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and adoption of new technologies in robotics control.
Represent the robotics control function in senior management meetings and external engagements.
Establish and enforce best practices, documentation standards, and quality assurance processes.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
7+ years experience in robotics control engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
Strong project management skills and experience leading multidisciplinary teams
Expertise in major robotic platforms and programming environments
Knowledge of industrial communication protocols and cybersecurity in automation
