As a Junior Robotics Control Engineer, you will work on the design, development, programming, and troubleshooting of robotic systems used in industrial automation. You will assist with robotic integration tasks, fine-tune motion control parameters, and contribute to project delivery across manufacturing, warehousing, or assembly operations. This role is ideal for engineers starting their career in robotics and looking to build hands-on experience with real-world applications.
Assist in programming and configuring industrial or collaborative robots (e.g., ABB, KUKA, FANUC, UR, Yaskawa).
Support the integration of robots with PLCs, sensors, vision systems, and safety devices.
Participate in robot cell layout design, simulation, and commissioning activities.
Conduct motion tuning, path optimization, and robot calibration.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in robotic control systems during testing and deployment.
Maintain clear documentation of system architecture, code changes, and setup procedures.
Work with mechanical and electrical teams to ensure smooth installation and operation.
Learn and follow safety standards such as ISO 10218, ANSI/RIA, and CE/UL guidelines.
Basic robotic kinematics and path planning
Robot programming environments (e.g., RobotStudio, RoboDK, TIA Portal, KUKA Sim)
Robotic languages (RAPID, KRL, VAL3, URScript, or Fanuc TP)
Industrial communication protocols: Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Profibus
Collaboration with cross-functional automation and engineering teams
Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering
0–2 years of experience (internships or academic projects in robotics preferred)
Familiarity with at least one robotic platform and its programming environment
Basic understanding of control systems, motors, encoders, and motion control principles
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Eagerness to learn and grow in industrial robotics and automation technologies
Junior Robotics Control Engineer → Robotics Engineer → Senior Robotics Engineer → Lead Robotics Architect / Technical Manager
