The Reliability Engineer – Valve Systems is responsible for leading reliability analysis, testing, and improvement initiatives to enhance the durability, performance, and safety of valve products. This role works closely with design, manufacturing, quality, and field service teams to identify failure mechanisms, develop reliability test plans, and implement corrective actions. The mid-level engineer plays a key role in driving product reliability programs aligned with ASME, API, and industry standards, contributing to continuous product and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and execute reliability analysis activities, including FMEA, fault tree analysis, and root cause investigations for valve systems.
Develop and manage reliability test plans (e.g., pressure cycling, thermal cycling, fatigue testing) and analyze test data to validate product robustness.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement design changes and process improvements based on reliability findings.
Analyze field data, warranty claims, and failure reports to identify trends and proactively address potential reliability risks.
Prepare detailed reliability reports, technical presentations, and documentation for internal teams and external customers.
Support qualification and certification activities in accordance with ASME, API, and other relevant standards.
Mentor junior reliability engineers and contribute to building reliability engineering best practices within the organization.
