We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mid-Level Mechanical Reliability Engineer to join our reliability and maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing mechanical equipment reliability, leading failure investigations, and implementing reliability improvement initiatives to enhance asset performance and reduce downtime. You will collaborate with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to optimize maintenance strategies and ensure the safe and efficient operation of mechanical systems.
Analyze mechanical equipment failure data to identify root causes and reliability issues.
Develop and implement reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) programs and predictive maintenance strategies.
Lead root cause analysis (RCA) investigations and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Collect, validate, and analyze equipment performance and maintenance data using reliability software tools.
Prepare detailed reliability reports, KPIs, and dashboards to monitor asset health and maintenance effectiveness.
Use data insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to optimize preventive and predictive maintenance plans.
Assist in planning and prioritizing maintenance activities based on reliability risk assessments.
Support spare parts optimization based on reliability and failure data.
Work closely with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to implement reliability improvements.
Provide technical support and training on reliability concepts and tools.
Participate in reliability-centered design reviews for new and modified mechanical equipment.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
3-5 years of experience in reliability engineering, maintenance engineering, or a related mechanical engineering role.
Hands-on experience with mechanical equipment reliability in oil & gas, manufacturing, or heavy industries.
Proficient in reliability tools and methodologies such as RCM, FMEA, RCA, and predictive maintenance.
Experience with reliability software (e.g., SAP PM, IBM Maximo, RCM tools).
Strong data analysis skills and proficiency in Excel and other analytical tools.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) or similar.
Training or certification in RCM, FMEA, or RCA methodologies.
Safety certifications such as OSHA or NEBOSH are advantageous.
