Job Summary:

The Regional Sales Director – Valve is responsible for leading and managing the sales strategy, business development, and client relationships within the assigned region for industrial valve products. This role requires deep market knowledge, technical expertise in valves and flow control solutions, and a proven ability to drive revenue growth through both direct and channel sales.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the regional sales strategy for industrial valves, aligned with corporate objectives.

  • Manage and grow relationships with EPCs, OEMs, distributors, and key end-users in oil & gas, power, water, and industrial sectors.

  • Lead a regional sales team including area managers, sales engineers, and support staff; set goals and monitor performance.

  • Identify new market opportunities and drive business expansion in untapped sectors and territories.

  • Oversee key tender submissions, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations.

  • Collaborate with the technical team to ensure proposed solutions meet customer specifications and industry standards.

  • Track regional market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adapt strategy accordingly.

  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance metrics for executive review.

  • Represent the company at regional trade shows, technical seminars, and client meetings.

  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, export policies, and company ethics.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field (MBA is a plus).

  • 8–12 years of progressive experience in technical sales, with a focus on valves, flow control, or industrial equipment.

  • Minimum 3–5 years in a regional leadership or strategic sales role.

  • Strong network within oil & gas, petrochemical, water, or power sectors in the assigned region.

  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.

  • Willingness to travel extensively across the region.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with valve standards (API, ASME, ISO, etc.) and applications (gate, globe, ball, control, safety valves).

  • Experience working with CRM systems, SAP, or sales analytics tools.

  • Multilingual abilities relevant to the region (e.g., Arabic, French, etc.).
