  • Maintain refrigerant levels and handle recharging safely in compliance with environmental standards.

3. Hygiene and Food Safety Compliance

  • Perform work in accordance with GMP, HACCP, and plant hygiene protocols to avoid cross-contamination.

  • Assist with equipment cleaning protocols and ensure maintenance activities do not compromise food safety.

4. Documentation & Reporting

  • Log maintenance activities, temperature readings, and repairs in CMMS or maintenance logbooks.

  • Maintain refrigerant usage logs and leak check documentation.

  • Support QA and audit teams with refrigeration-related data during inspections.

5. Coordination & Teamwork

  • Support installation, retrofitting, or upgrading of refrigeration systems.

  • Work with the QA, production, and utilities team to respond to temperature deviations or system alarms.

  • Guide and assist junior technicians during complex maintenance or shutdowns.
