Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Refrigeration Engineer to lead our engineering team in designing, implementing, and optimizing advanced refrigeration systems. Key Responsibilities:

• System Design & Engineering:

  • Lead the design, development, and commissioning of state-of-the-art refrigeration systems tailored to diverse industrial applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that optimize energy efficiency and system performance.

• Project Management:

  • Oversee complex projects from conceptualization to completion, ensuring adherence to budgets, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and stakeholders to secure necessary resources and manage project risks effectively.

• Maintenance & Performance Optimization:

  • Develop and implement advanced preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to maximize system uptime and reliability.
  • Analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and lead initiatives for system upgrades and process enhancements.

• Troubleshooting & Technical Leadership:

  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in refrigeration systems, providing expert guidance to engineering teams during critical repair situations.
  • Develop and standardize troubleshooting protocols and maintenance procedures to ensure consistent operational excellence.

• Safety, Compliance & Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure all engineering activities comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
  • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments, implementing corrective measures to maintain a safe working environment.

• Mentorship & Team Development:

  • Mentor and train junior engineers and technical staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Lead technical workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions to keep the team updated on the latest industry trends and best practices.

• Documentation & Reporting:

  • Oversee the maintenance of detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, project reports, and compliance records.
  • Prepare and present regular updates to management on project progress, system performance, and operational challenges.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Refrigeration Engineering, or a related field.
  • Advanced certifications in refrigeration, HVAC, or related disciplines are highly desirable.

• Experience:

  • A minimum of 7-10 years of hands-on experience in refrigeration system design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale projects and leading engineering teams.

• Skills:

  • Expert-level knowledge of refrigeration cycles, thermodynamics, control systems, and energy management.
  • Proficiency in using advanced diagnostic tools, simulation software, and performance analysis techniques.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, project management, and leadership skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels.

• Certifications (Preferred):

  • Industry-recognized certifications such as EPA 608 Certification, HVAC Excellence, or equivalent.
  • Advanced safety certifications (e.g., OSHA) and relevant project management qualifications (e.g., PMP) are a plus.
