The Junior QA/QC Supervisor – Fabricated Systems supports supervision of quality assurance and quality control activities related to fabricated systems used in food and beverage manufacturing. Reporting to senior QA/QC leadership, this role assists in inspecting, testing, and verifying that fabrication processes and finished products meet company standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications. This is an entry-level supervisory role designed to develop quality management and leadership skills in a manufacturing environment.
Assist in supervising daily QA/QC operations for fabricated equipment and systems.
Perform and oversee inspections, tests, and documentation to ensure compliance with design specifications and food safety standards (e.g., 3-A, FDA).
Support the identification and resolution of quality issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Help maintain QA/QC records, reports, and traceability documentation.
Promote adherence to quality standards and safe work practices among fabrication teams.
Assist in training team members on quality procedures and inspection techniques.
Coordinate with production, engineering, and suppliers to communicate quality requirements and resolve discrepancies.
Support preparation for internal and external quality audits.
High school diploma or equivalent required
Technical training or certification in quality control, fabrication, or related field preferred
1-3 years experience in QA/QC or fabrication inspection, preferably in food-grade or sanitary manufacturing environments
Some exposure to supervisory or lead roles is a plus
Basic knowledge of QA/QC principles, inspection methods, and food safety standards
Attention to detail and strong observational skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to follow procedures and documentation protocols
