As a Mid-Level Process Automation and Control Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, development, implementation, and troubleshooting of automation and control systems for process manufacturing environments. You will lead medium-scale automation projects, provide technical guidance to junior engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of automation systems that meet performance, safety, and compliance standards.
Design and implement PLC logic, SCADA/HMI applications, and system architectures.
Lead the integration of process instruments, drives, and actuators with control systems.
Supervise and perform I/O testing, loop checks, FAT/SAT, and commissioning activities.
Interpret and develop P&IDs, I/O lists, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts.
Support or lead automation project execution from concept to handover.
Prepare and review technical documentation: FDS, SDS, control narratives, and validation protocols.
Collaborate with electrical, instrumentation, and process engineering teams to optimize automation design.
Troubleshoot automation systems and lead root cause analysis for recurring issues.
Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, cybersecurity, and data integrity requirements.
