As a Junior Process Automation and Control Engineer, you will assist in the development, configuration, commissioning, and support of process automation systems. Your role will include hands-on work with PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and field instrumentation. You will support project execution from wiring and documentation to testing and on-site commissioning, gaining exposure to end-to-end automation system lifecycles under the guidance of senior engineers.
Assist in PLC programming, HMI/SCADA configuration, and I/O mapping.
Conduct loop testing, sensor calibration, and basic troubleshooting during installation and commissioning.
Perform wiring, panel integration, and on-site support for automation projects.
Read and work from P&IDs, electrical drawings, and control logic diagrams.
Contribute to FAT/SAT execution, technical documentation, and change control logs.
Provide remote or on-site support for automation maintenance and breakdown issues.
Work with instrumentation teams to install and configure field devices like pressure, temperature, flow, and level sensors.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and documentation standards.
