As a Junior Principal Sales Engineer specializing in API Pumps, you will play a key role in supporting mechanical sales operations by providing technical expertise, preparing proposals, and engaging with clients in the oil & gas, petrochemical, and industrial sectors. You will work under the guidance of senior engineers and contribute to achieving sales targets through technical consultation and client support.
Assist in the preparation of technical and commercial proposals for API Pump solutions.
Support the sales team with pump selection, sizing, and compliance with API standards (e.g., API 610).
Conduct market research to identify potential clients, projects, and application needs.
Participate in client meetings to explain product features, benefits, and compatibility.
Collaborate with engineering and procurement teams to ensure accurate project quotations.
Track and follow up on sales leads, quotations, and project milestones.
Maintain accurate documentation of sales activities, inquiries, and customer feedback.
Assist in organizing technical presentations and demos for potential clients.
Stay updated with product developments and industry standards related to API Pumps.
API 610 pump systems and standards

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
0–2 years of experience in mechanical sales or rotating equipment (internships or training preferred)

Willingness to travel and attend client site visits when required
