We are seeking an experienced and technically adept Senior Piping Supervisor to lead and manage piping construction, modification, and maintenance activities across large-scale industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have deep field experience, proven leadership capabilities, and a strong understanding of industry codes and project execution strategies. This role involves overseeing multi-discipline crews, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, coordinating with project stakeholders, and driving schedule adherence.
Lead and supervise all aspects of piping fabrication, erection, and installation on-site.
Review and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, isometrics, and specifications.
Oversee hydrostatic/pneumatic testing, flushing, cleaning, and commissioning support.
Enforce HSE policies and procedures, ensuring full compliance with legal and company safety requirements.
Conduct risk assessments, toolbox talks, incident investigations, and corrective action follow-ups.
Champion a safety-first culture across the piping workforce.
Coordinate with QA/QC for weld inspection, NDT, and documentation.
Ensure all work conforms to applicable codes (e.g., ASME B31.3, API 570) and client requirements.
Validate welding processes, material certifications, and piping system readiness.
Manage and mentor piping teams including fitters, welders, riggers, and subcontractors.
Interface with project managers, planners, procurement, and engineering to align project goals.
Monitor progress, manpower planning, material control, and report to construction/project managers.
Lead high-impact piping operations on shutdowns or EPC projects
Ensure safety, quality, and code compliance at all stages
Drive execution plans and resource efficiency
Support commissioning and turnover documentation
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Piping Technology.
7–15 years of piping supervision experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or power sectors.
Extensive knowledge of shutdowns, turnarounds, or large capital projects.
Expert in interpreting piping layouts, isometrics, and specifications.
Proficient with piping standards: ASME B31.1/B31.3, API 570, API 650, and ASME Section IX.
Skilled in planning and executing hydrotesting, line checking, and mechanical completion.
Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
Proven track record of leading large, diverse field teams.
Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
NEBOSH, OSHA 30, or equivalent safety certifications.
Welding Inspector (CSWIP 3.1/3.2 or AWS-CWI) is an advantage.
Familiarity with CMMS or completion systems (e.g., Aconex, Completions iT).
