We are looking for a motivated and technically inclined Junior Piping Supervisor to assist in supervising piping installation, fabrication, and maintenance activities at industrial project sites. This entry-level supervisory role is ideal for candidates with foundational knowledge in piping systems who are ready to take the next step into leadership under the guidance of senior supervisors or engineers. The role supports daily operations, ensures safety compliance, and helps maintain quality standards in line with engineering drawings and specifications.
Assist in supervising piping installation, fitting, welding, and support works.
Monitor the work progress of piping crews and ensure tasks are carried out as per schedule.
Coordinate with senior supervisors or engineers to interpret isometric drawings and P&IDs.
Promote and follow site safety protocols, ensuring team members use proper PPE.
Conduct basic safety checks and report any unsafe conditions or near misses.
Participate in toolbox talks and safety briefings.
Support fit-up inspections and assist QA/QC personnel with testing (e.g., hydrotests).
Verify material specifications and ensure correct use of tools and procedures.
Maintain basic documentation of work activities and inspection results.
Liaise with welders, fabricators, and helpers to maintain smooth workflow.
Communicate material needs, schedule delays, or technical issues to supervisors.
Ensure proper housekeeping and organization in the work area.
Assist in daily piping supervision and progress tracking
Promote site safety compliance and quality control
Support material handling and crew coordination
Learn and apply technical knowledge on-site
Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Piping Technology, or a related field.
Training in reading piping drawings or welding symbols is preferred.
0–2 years of experience in piping projects (internship, trainee, or helper-level experience acceptable).
Familiarity with industrial or construction environments is a plus.
Basic understanding of piping components (elbows, tees, flanges, etc.).
Ability to read simple isometric drawings or follow technical instructions.
Exposure to common tools and equipment used in piping installations.
Strong willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Reliable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented.
Basic Safety Training or OSHA 10/30 (optional but preferred).
Introductory training in piping or mechanical systems.
