We are looking for an experienced Senior Piping Fabricator / Fitter to lead piping fabrication and installation activities on complex industrial projects. The senior-level professional will take ownership of fabrication quality, guide junior team members, interpret advanced piping drawings, and ensure adherence to all safety and project standards. This role demands strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in fabrication and site installation environments.
Lead fabrication and assembly of complex piping spools, supports, and valve installations according to project specifications and codes.
Perform critical fit-up, alignment, and dimensional verification for pipe welding preparation.
Oversee site installation activities, ensuring precise pipe routing and integration with equipment.
Interpret complex isometric drawings, P&IDs, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings.
Ensure compliance with applicable codes such as ASME B31.3 and project QA/QC standards.
Conduct inspections and dimensional checks to maintain high-quality workmanship.
Supervise and mentor mid-level and junior fitters, providing technical guidance and fostering skill development.
Coordinate workflow with project engineers, welders, and safety officers to optimize productivity and safety.
Lead toolbox talks and safety briefings focused on fabrication activities.
Enforce strict adherence to safety regulations and company policies during all fabrication and installation tasks.
Identify potential hazards and implement risk mitigation measures.
Participate actively in incident investigations and continuous safety improvement initiatives.
Complex pipe spool fabrication and fit-up

ITI / Diploma or equivalent certification in Mechanical, Pipe Fitting, or related discipline.
7+ years of progressive experience in piping fabrication and installation, with demonstrated leadership on large-scale industrial projects.
Proven track record in handling complex piping systems in oil & gas, petrochemical, or heavy industrial sectors.
Mastery of fabrication tools and equipment including pipe bevelers, grinders, alignment tools, and measuring devices.
Strong understanding of piping codes and standards such as ASME B31.3, API standards, and welding procedures.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Safety certifications including H2S, Confined Space, Fire Watch, and Permit-to-Work (PTW) awareness.
Certification in quality inspection or welding inspection is an advantage.
