We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Pipeline Valve Supervisor to oversee and lead valve maintenance operations for large-diameter pipeline systems within water treatment and distribution networks. This senior role demands advanced technical expertise, strategic leadership, and strong team management to ensure system reliability, safety, and compliance.
Strategic Leadership & Team Management
Lead and manage multiple valve maintenance teams responsible for large-diameter pipeline valve systems across several sites.
Develop and implement maintenance strategies, procedures, and best practices to maximize valve reliability and lifespan.
Mentor and coach supervisors and technicians, fostering professional growth and safety culture.
Operational Oversight & Problem Resolution
Oversee complex maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency repair activities on large pipeline valves.
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and asset management teams to support capital projects and system upgrades.
Analyze maintenance data to identify trends, root causes of failures, and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.
Safety & Regulatory Compliance
Ensure all valve maintenance activities strictly comply with safety regulations, including OSHA standards, LOTO, confined space, and PPE protocols.
Lead safety audits, incident investigations, and drive corrective and preventive actions.
Champion a proactive safety culture across all field operations.
Reporting & Stakeholder Communication
Prepare and present detailed reports on valve system performance, maintenance effectiveness, and safety metrics to senior management.
Serve as the primary point of contact for external contractors, regulatory agencies, and internal stakeholders on valve maintenance matters.
Support strategic planning, budgeting, and resource allocation for pipeline valve maintenance programs.

Education:
High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field preferred
Experience:
8+ years of experience in valve maintenance or pipeline operations, with at least 4 years in a senior supervisory or leadership role
Extensive experience with large-diameter pipeline valve systems in water treatment or related industries
Skills:
Expert knowledge of valve technologies, pipeline systems, and maintenance methodologies
Proficiency with CMMS, asset management software, and data analytics
