We are seeking an experienced Pipeline Valve Supervisor to lead and coordinate valve maintenance and operational activities on large-diameter pipelines in water treatment and distribution systems. This role involves supervising field teams, ensuring valve reliability, managing inspections and repairs, and maintaining safety and compliance standards.
Team Leadership & Coordination
Supervise valve maintenance crews responsible for large-diameter pipeline valves including gate, butterfly, and check valves.
Plan, schedule, and assign maintenance, inspection, and operational tasks.
Mentor and train technicians to improve skills and ensure quality work.
Maintenance & Inspection Oversight
Oversee preventive, corrective, and emergency valve maintenance activities.
Coordinate valve exercising, lubrication, leak detection, and operational testing.
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with technical standards and operational procedures.
Safety & Compliance
Enforce strict adherence to safety policies, including lockout/tagout (LOTO), confined space entry, and PPE usage.
Conduct safety meetings, toolbox talks, and incident investigations.
Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate records of valve maintenance and inspection activities in CMMS or asset management systems.
Prepare reports on valve conditions, maintenance status, and team performance.
Communicate effectively with operations, engineering, and management teams.

Education:
High school diploma or GED required; technical diploma or certification in mechanical, pipeline, or industrial maintenance preferred
Experience:
4–7 years of valve maintenance or pipeline operations experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
Experience working with large-diameter valve systems preferred
Skills:
Strong knowledge of valve types, maintenance practices, and pipeline systems
Ability to read technical drawings and follow maintenance procedures
Proficiency with CMMS and maintenance planning tools
Effective leadership, communication, and organizational skills
