We are seeking a skilled Pipe Fitter / Fabrication Fitter with solid experience to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the assembly, installation, and maintenance of piping systems and fabricated mechanical components in accordance with engineering drawings and industry standards. You will also support junior fitters and ensure quality workmanship, safety compliance, and timely completion of projects.
Measure, cut, thread, bend, and assemble pipes and fittings using hand and power tools.
Interpret piping isometrics, fabrication drawings, and blueprints accurately to execute installations.
Install piping systems, valves, supports, and accessories in compliance with project specifications.
Perform welding preparation such as fit-up, alignment, and tack welding support.
Ensure all pipe fabrication and installation work meets quality standards and specifications.
Inspect fittings and assemblies for defects and correct deviations.
Collaborate with QA/QC inspectors to rectify welding or fabrication issues.
Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times during fabrication and installation activities.
Conduct job safety analyses (JSA) and participate in toolbox talks.
Maintain a clean and organized worksite, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.
Provide guidance and support to junior fitters and helpers.
Coordinate with welders, engineers, and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.
Assist in planning and scheduling daily work to meet project deadlines.

High school diploma or equivalent
Technical diploma or certificate in pipe fitting, mechanical fabrication, or related field preferred
3–5 years of hands-on experience in pipe fitting and fabrication, preferably in oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial sectors
Familiarity with pipe installation, support systems, and valve assemblies
Proficient in use of hand and power tools, pipe cutting and threading machines
Ability to read and interpret piping isometrics, blueprints, and fabrication drawings
Strong knowledge of welding preparation and fit-up requirements
Good communication and team coordination skills
