Job Title: Pipe Fitter / Fabrication Fitter

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated Junior Pipe Fitter / Fabrication Fitter to join our fabrication and installation team. In this entry-level role, you will assist in assembling, installing, and maintaining piping systems and structural components according to specifications and safety standards. You will receive hands-on training and guidance to develop your skills in pipe fitting and fabrication within an industrial or construction environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Pipe Fitting & Fabrication Support:

• Assist in measuring, cutting, threading, and assembling pipes and fittings using hand and power tools.

• Support fabrication of piping components and structural assemblies as per drawings and specifications.

• Aid in the installation of pipe sections, supports, valves, and related equipment at site or workshop.

• Prepare work areas and tools to ensure smooth workflow and efficient operations.

Reading & Interpretation:

• Learn to read and understand basic piping drawings, isometrics, and fabrication blueprints.

• Follow instructions from senior fitters, supervisors, or engineers to carry out assigned tasks accurately.

Quality & Safety:

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.

• Observe safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

• Report any safety hazards or equipment issues to supervisors promptly.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with pipe fitters, welders, and other team members to complete fabrication and installation activities.

• Assist in material handling and inventory management as directed.

• Adherence to safety standards and teamwork

Qualifications and Skills:

Educational Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Technical training or vocational certificate in pipe fitting, mechanical fabrication, or related field is a plus

Experience:

• 0–1 year of experience, freshers encouraged to apply

• Some practical exposure through internships, apprenticeships, or training programs preferred

Skills:

• Basic hand tool and power tool operation

• Willingness to learn and follow instructions carefully

• Good physical stamina and manual dexterity

• Ability to work safely in an industrial environment

• Team player with positive attitude and good communication
