Payroll Supervisor

Job Summary

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Payroll Supervisor to oversee and manage the end-to-end payroll processing for the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate payroll execution, compliance with labor laws and tax regulations, and maintaining confidential payroll records. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to lead a small team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage the payroll process for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

  • Maintain and update employee payroll records, including salaries, bonuses, benefits, and deductions

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws, labor laws, and company policies

  • Coordinate with HR and Finance departments to ensure accurate employee data and payroll adjustments

  • Prepare and review payroll reports, summaries, and reconciliations

  • Address and resolve employee inquiries related to payroll and deductions

  • Assist in audits related to payroll and statutory compliance

  • Stay updated with changes in payroll regulations and implement necessary adjustments

  • Train, guide, and support payroll staff in daily operations

  • Ensure data confidentiality and secure handling of sensitive payroll information

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field

  • Minimum of 4–6 years of payroll experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role

  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes, labor laws, social security, and taxation

  • Proficiency in payroll software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, ADP)

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality

  • Effective communication and team leadership skills
