Job Title: Payroll Officer / Administrator (Junior Level)
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Payroll Officer / Administrator (Junior Level) to assist in processing accurate and timely payroll for all employees. The role is critical in maintaining payroll records, verifying timekeeping data, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and local labor laws. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, discreet with confidential information, and eager to build a strong foundation in payroll and HR administration.
Key Responsibilities
Support end-to-end payroll processing activities under supervision.
Validate attendance data, overtime records, and leave entries before payroll runs.
Prepare and maintain employee payroll files and salary details in a secure and accurate manner.
Assist in the preparation of payslips, bank transfer files, and statutory reports.
Respond to employee queries related to salaries, deductions, and payroll timelines.
Ensure payroll transactions comply with UAE labor law, company policies, and tax regulations.
Coordinate with HR and Finance teams to ensure accuracy in payroll inputs and cost allocations.
Support audits and internal reviews by providing necessary payroll records and documentation.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
0–2 years of experience in payroll, accounting, or HR administration
Familiarity with payroll software and HR systems is an advantage
Proficiency in MS Excel and basic financial data handling
Strong numerical ability, attention to detail, and organizational skills
Good communication skills and a professional, trustworthy demeanor
Basic understanding of payroll regulations and UAE labor law is preferred
