The Panel Assembly and Wiring Supervisor is responsible for managing and executing the assembly, wiring, testing, and inspection of electrical control panels such as MCC, PLC, VFD, and relay panels. The role includes supervising a team of technicians, ensuring quality standards, adhering to safety guidelines, and delivering panels as per project timelines and specifications.
Supervise the complete assembly and wiring of control panels based on technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
Ensure that all assembly tasks are completed accurately and within defined schedules.
Allocate work among technicians and monitor daily progress.
Review and interpret electrical schematics, layout drawings, and terminal plans.
Verify that the panel layout, component mounting, and wiring adhere to UL, IEC, CE, or customer standards.
Troubleshoot wiring issues and guide resolution during fabrication.
Conduct or supervise continuity, insulation resistance, and functionality tests.
Ensure proper documentation of test results and assist in Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs).
Rectify non-conformities and maintain quality records.
Enforce proper use of PPE, EHS practices, and safe wiring procedures.
Maintain cleanliness, tool calibration, and orderly panel shop layout as per 5S principles.
Ensure all tools and test equipment are properly maintained.
Monitor availability of required panel materials and consumables.
Coordinate with procurement and stores to track incoming components.
Update team leads or project managers about delays or shortages.

Diploma or Bachelor’s in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering
3–7 years of experience in control panel wiring and assembly supervision
Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or other electrical drafting tools
Familiar with industrial components (Siemens, Schneider, Rockwell, ABB, etc.)
