The Senior Panel Assembly and Wiring Supervisor is responsible for leading the end-to-end execution of electrical and control panel fabrication, from planning and layout through wiring, inspection, and testing. This role involves supervising a team of technicians, ensuring compliance with international standards, and coordinating with engineering and commissioning teams to deliver high-quality, test-ready panels.
Oversee and manage the assembly and wiring of PLC, MCC, VFD, and relay-based control panels.
Ensure work complies with technical drawings, wiring schematics, and GA/layout diagrams.
Supervise floor layout, workflow optimization, and daily activities of panel assembly teams.
Lead panel inspections and conduct electrical continuity, insulation resistance, and function tests.
Prepare for and support Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) with clients or internal QA teams.
Ensure compliance with UL508A, IEC 61439, CE, or other applicable panel-building standards.
Coordinate with design, procurement, and project engineering to ensure on-time delivery.
Review and validate Bill of Materials (BOMs), panel schedules, and component selection.
Support change management for design revisions and customer-specific requirements.
Mentor and train junior supervisors and panel technicians on wiring techniques, standards, and safety.
Allocate resources efficiently and oversee adherence to timelines and quality expectations.
Lead by example in troubleshooting, fault analysis, and on-the-floor decision-making.
Enforce electrical safety protocols, PPE use, and EHS guidelines in the workshop.
Ensure compliance with 5S, ISO quality systems, and audit readiness.
Maintain calibration and health of test equipment and power tools.

Workforce planning, mentoring, and hands-on leadership
Lean manufacturing, inventory control, and EHS compliance
Customer-specific customization and layout optimization
Diploma or Bachelor's in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering
7+ years of experience in panel wiring, fabrication, and supervision
Proficient with AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or equivalent electrical design tools
Familiarity with components from Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider, ABB, Omron
Strong understanding of industrial control logic, relay circuits, and PLC/HMI integration
